Small towns and villages in The Way: Nájera

Located on the French Way before reaching Santo Domingo de la Calzada, Nájera can be found in the middle of La Rioja, and its centre is crossed by the Jacobean route.This small municipality and the hills bordering it were inhabited since prehistoric times.

A town known by its history, which tell the battles between Moors and Christians since the 10th century. All this heritage is reflected in its monuments and architecture which highlights the Pantheon of the Royal and the Infants, the monastery of Santa María La Real and the caves of Nájera.
