Also in the French Way between Pamplona and Estella, is located this beautiful medieval village: Puente la Reina, also known as "The Queen's Bridge" or "The crossroads of the ways". The main architectural site of the town is its famous bridge, built over the river Arga in a romanesque style and six archs. Built during the medieval times by the Queen Muniadona, wife of King Sancho III.
Following the pilgrim's way and getting into the village, you will also find the Church of the Crucifix and the Church of Santiago. This is the perfect location for those pilgrims that are looking to rest in a charming village surrounded by calm and a fairytale atmosphere.
